I miss you so much my little Bodkin. Thank-you for leaving me with so many happy memories and for the beautiful, kind words in your last letter and memoirs. It makes endurable what would otherwise be unbearable. You made, and still make, such a big difference to so many people. I am so proud of Jessie and Molly and I see you in them everyday. They have had to put up with so much and this time of year is so difficult but they are doing so well. Molly aced her GCSE's and is now doing English Literature at A-Level :-) She is still kicking ass - long may it continue! Jessie has returned to her legal studies and is sitting exams next week. She has been a tower of strength to both of us. You too would be so proud of them.
We enter the Festive period determined to continue with our beautiful family traditions. Whilst it feels so sad that you can't share these with us, you are still such a big part of them. We will spend forever and a day trying to recreate your roasties!
