What a challenge to find a picture of Jackie. Hundreds of the children hanging around a pool together, lolling in the lounge of some far off villa, but where was Jackie? Probably preparing a meal or reading a book, keeping an ear out for girl-initiated ructions, but certainly not looking to be captured for posterity. After fodder had been scoffed, the camera packed away and the sun had set, she would engage in that night's vigorous debate or flight of fancy, more than likely condemning one of the more ill thought out contentions as "preposterous!"

A similar story for those many cottages and festivals with bigger gangs in assorted beautiful parts of Britain, so here is a picture of a young Jackie, doing one of her favourite things with her bag full of life's essentials near at hand. Thank you Jackie, it has been a privilege.
