When I first started at Peter Symonds, Jackie took me under her wing and helped me through my NQT year with her kind words and wonderful resources! She became my Smart board inspiration, unofficial mentor and friend. She was caring, compassionate, unassuming, and the upmost professional. Jackie loved a post-it note, and would often leave little messages stuck to my computer with her distinctive swirly handwriting and a smiley face. She genuinely loved to help others and was always the best person to go to for advice. Her bravery and stoicism over the last few years (with a bit of dark humour thrown in!) were inspiring. Jackie was just an all round lovely person, and she will be so very missed.
